How Traded Market Volatility Can Impact Secondary Pricing

Increased volatility in liquid markets tends to affect secondary market prices before third party tender offer prices, which can produce interesting results.

Recently, a third party offer for Moody National REIT II exceeded recent secondary market prices while sellers continue to find better pricing on their SmartStop Self Storage shares in secondary markets.

For now, prices for CIM Group's non-traded REIT, CIM Real Estate Finance Trust, are largely aligned.
